Another new initiative in 2024 for paid-up U3A Limerick members was a series of Dance Classes led by very experienced teachers, Molly and Kathie, in Dance Limerick Studio, John’s Square, Limerick
The classes catered specifically for our age group and no previous dance experience was required. Dance is a most enjoyable way of improving your motor skills in so many ways, including coordination. Molly and Katie guided us through a series of warm up exercises, interpretive dance moves and maybe even a little flamingo on occasions.
We enjoyed a schedule of 6 hour-long classes at Dance Limerick in October/November 2024.
This session of 6 Dance Classes has now finished. U3A steering committee is investigating another series of classes in 2025 to give you an opportunity to liberate your body and spirit for an hour over another series of 6 weeks.
